Burnside and Kealba sit either side of the older and newer divide in this part of the west. Burnside is largely 1990s and 2000s estate housing; Kealba is older, with a good deal of 1970s and 1980s stock. We work in both, and the jobs are genuinely different.
In Burnside, the work is usually about age catching up with a builder’s fit-out — membranes near the end of their life, tired finishes, ensuites that no longer suit the household. In Kealba it is more often a full reset: a small original bathroom, a separate toilet, and forty years of accumulated patching.
